Lightening Agents :

Arbutin (p-Hydroxyphenyl-ß-D-Glucopyranoside) - C12H16O7 is the latest bio-engineered anti-oxidant with skin lightening properties. Arbutin inhibits the production of melanin by slowing the activity of the enzyme tyrosinase and blocking the chain reaction at various points from tyrosine/DOPA to melanin. Arbutin is an extract from mountain cranberry leaves.
